Throes + The Shine, an Angolan-Portuguese band that has been in activity since 2011, spearheaded by Mob Dedaldino, Igor Domingues and Marco Castro and renowned for their exuberant concerts, are preparing to release Kalunga, their sixth album, on the 10th of May. “Alô Alô” is it’s opening track and presents us with a powerful and energetic sound, making for a perfect introduction to the journey that the band wants the audience to embark on while listening to the eight tracks that will be on Kalunga. With a single whose structure relies on the strength of the beat, the richness of the electronic textures and the power of fiery rhymes that speak about the importance of having your friends by your side, Throes + The Shine provides the world with yet another spark that will ignite the crowds throughout their shows throughout 2024.
